Umbrella For My Tears Poem

I’m at that point in my life
Where I don’t want to exist anymore
It seems my life is never getting better
I feel like I am in this existence
Of a black hole with no end in sight
I don’t think I want to be here right now
I want life to get better not be this worse
I am wasting away and I need to get out
It’s not that I don’t care what happened
I just lost passion for life

Secrets Of An Umbrella Poem

I have been your secret love
Sharing stolen kisses with you
Moments that I kept private
Loving all the moments together
The adventure too mind blowing
I wanted to tell the whole world
Scream at the top of my lungs
Embrace you whenever I wanted
I knew you were not free to love
I wanted to believe you were mine

Grey Umbrella Poem

I sleep with a broken heart
Because I have been a fool at love
I stumbled upon an old torn grey umbrella
Out of it feel a crumpled up note
A love letter I discovered it was
All the words I had heard you say
All the whispered poems in my ears
The love notes you shared with mw
Were all written in that piece of paper
You said you had never loved another

A Heart Not Mine Poem

I watched you love another as my heart broke into millions of pieces
I wanted to touch you yet I knew you were not mine
All I could think of was your fingertips in mine
Your kiss I desired so much to the point of insanity
Waiting as if watching a plant germinate and grow from the soil
I knew you could never be mine
Your heart belonged to someone else…her
All the feelings that kept coming to the surface
I tried to hide and laugh with you
Knowing I loved you so much that every part of me hurt

Burberry Umbrella Wish Poem

A broken hearted girl
Sits on a cold hard bench
Watching as life slowly ebbs out of her
Waiting in fear of loneliness
The wind beating on her l innocence
Shivering and wishing for warmth
Her world had just crumbled down
Everything she knew to be true
Shattered into millions of pieces
She had loved with everything

Home For My Secret Tears Poem

Your heart is where I keep my secret tears
The tears that no one is allowed to see
The tears I will not let anyone else wipe
These tears that keep falling
Just so my heart can stop being exhausted by pain
I know I will not cry now
Only later when my pillow and I are together
It won’t help melt the anger away
My knuckles are tightly bound
The veins almost exploding within my muscles

The Phone Call Poem

You promised to call me tonight
More than a thousand miles separate us
The distance tells me you are my everything
3.00pm a burnt orange dusk prepares my heart
4.00pm I watch as the sun sets knowing I will hear your voice
5.00pm I still wait counting the minutes ticking away
6.00pm my heart has began to wobble and worry
7.00pm my arms want to reach for my phone
8.00pm I try to watch the darkness becoming thicker
9.00pm I keep my mind safe from obsessing about you

Broken Tree House Poem

Creaking wood is all you can hear from afar
Cobwebbed corners is what you see even from outside
Moss filled walls cry for attention
As crumbling floors will not let you in
Dusty shelves speak volumes of the weight they carried
A broken ladder silently hoping for some redemption
Leaning branches weakly sway away in the blustery weather
These are the remains of our tree house
Neglected and left to fend itself from the mercies of a cold harsh wind
Predators that are like vultures waiting for their prey to fall and die

The Agony Of Saying Goodbye Poem

It feels like I am the one
Who has been begging for us to have our relationship back
But I am alone now
This is the last letter I am writing to you my love
We cannot continue like this anymore
Because it hurts knowing you don’t love me any longer
I tried moving on with another
But I ended the relationship because all I thought was you
I hoped you would ask me back into your life
Last year I turned down a proposal from another man

Jinxed Embrace Poem

I tired
Tried to love you
With everything I had
I craved to be in your arms
Yearned every day for your touch
Became aware of your heart beat
Nothing I could not do for you
Forsake all others
You were the one I chose
I only saw you whenever there was a crowd

Jagged Emotions Poem

This wind so cold, unpardoning, grievous
Beats onto my morning face
Whirling away
These feelings of never loving again
At times calming down
The hot gusts of regrets
Cooling the heats of tarnished promises
Every moment floating in a bubble
Only to burst after a while
The clanging rattling chains

I Will Be Happy Tomorrow Poem

As I wander along this dusty path
Lonely, weary, rugged even sad
Climbing the heaps of memories so steep
I remember life in your entire being
Almost like treading on egg shells
Before you turned the pages of our life
Sealed the book of our love
Then ripped it into millions of pieces
Now
Accurately trying to glue the pieces together

I Need A Reason Poem

Every day with you
Was like falling in love for the first time
Feeling scared, excited at the same time
Waiting in vain for your love to return
I lost myself in you
Everything I had you took
Broke my heart in two
Seeing you sad and lonely
Our decision to part proved us wrong
There was no law to keep us apart

Have Me Poem

Are you my soul mate?
I think you are my soul mate
Soul mates end up together or move on
But never forget each other
So who are we?
Or which soul mate am I to you
As the wind blows towards me
I wonder
Have you forgotten me?
Or are the seasons just changing

Gone Is Our Love Poem

The first time I laid my eyes
On your broken heart
Your sad eyes
Shattered memories
I knew I would take it all away
Or live totally changed
The minute we fell in love
Through the rough and smooth
We held onto each other
One simple mistake
Our life was broken in two
I know I cannot have you back
It is important you know
Your kiss was incomplete

Ending A Song Poem

The sadness in your eyes my love
Gives me no joy only sorrow
I wanted to help you heal
My flaming pride would not let me
Knowing I caused it makes it unbearable
Everything ceased to exist
As it dawned on me you had left
You loved me in sultry slow motion
With your feathery touch
You were everything I wanted
Gave me everything I needed
Tears were all I knew in my life
Pain has grown a part of me
Misery like a daily bread
Simple reflections of what life was
I knew nothing but loving you
Life’s lessons taught me to compromise
Give without expecting back
We danced to our own music
The moment the Song of Songs ended
Ours was history

Drifting Away Poem

It ended before it began
I look in your eyes
We have become friends
The eagerness to see me
Lost into thick oblivion
Not a single greeting that drowns my heart
I can see
You don’t love me now
Never sure whether you did before
I had loved you relentlessly
Put your name on my pedestal
Dust covered the presence of you
Cobwebs won’t let me reach you
You chose to learn again
Thought it was me you went for
All senses say you did for you
Now I know you have moved on
We left each other at the beginning
Why love is so difficult to comprehend
I do not understand
There is no hug to bring us closer
We cannot live without love
Yet ours went with the flow away

Broken Heart Poem

My love came and went
Yours stayed forever
In your absence
You still gave me joy
Where else will I keep my heart?
On whose shoulder will I rest?
How can I open myself up?
When will I never miss you?
Which place will never remind me of you?
The touches do not feel the same
I roll down on the floor
Trying to chase the troubles away
Seeing your love not returned
Your hand stretched out
None to take it
Calling out my name yet I cannot answer
It has never been the same
Waking up without you near
I need to mend
Your fragile heart that I broke

Before You Leave Poem

Your absence will be the death of me
I do not want you to leave
Yet you are not mine
My defense system screams to keep you
Tear drops fill the ocean of love
A musical beating of the heart
Fear crawling underneath my skin
Running away from the hardest judgments
Bring me back to your arms
Red petals of a rose turn into a pale pink
Fading the colour of our belonging together
Can cries be enough to keep you with me?
Or winds of mercy let your heart discover
Mine is not soundly resting in peace
Knowing your warmth is far from me
Give me sanity to my tired mind
Bring happiness to my weary smile
The only difference I need in my soul
Seeing your presence within my shadow
Is it enough to re-live this anguish?
I, ended without you
Look back at my soul before you disappear
