Burberry Umbrella Wish Poem

A broken hearted girl
Sits on a cold hard bench
Watching as life slowly ebbs out of her
Waiting in fear of loneliness
The wind beating on her l innocence
Shivering and wishing for warmth
Her world had just crumbled down
Everything she knew to be true
Shattered into millions of pieces
She had loved with everything
Knowing life would give back
Eyes were now puffed from crying
The dark circles under her eyes
The only beauty that remained
The swollen red cheeks
Retold a story of harsh betrayal
Her quivering lips
Sang like a sad old love song
Forgotten in the attic of memories long gone
Ups and downs of life
She knew them all
A Burberry umbrella wish
Was what had remained in her heart
A heart that struggled to breath
A soul that creaked of deep pains
The dc couple with the Burberry umbrella
Oozed happiness she longed for
If only for a second
The autumn leaves blew past
Some clinging to her bare feet
She knew there was room for a smile
Yet her lips froze in defiance
Willing herself up she stood to leave
The past would not follow her
She swore
