Chaotic Soul Of A Poet Poem

All I did was love you
All I wanted was your love back
All I needed was your kiss
Everything I hoped for was your ring on my finger
All I cried for was your hand in mine
All I felt was emotions I never knew
All I loved was you telling me you loved me
All I dreamt of was waking up next to you
All I wanted was to tell you I loved you
All I prayed for was for us to be together forever
All I needed was you
Everything I wished for was your heart in mine
All I searched for was your warm embrace
All I begged for was your protective arms around me
All I experienced was the need to be with you
All…but I never had you
This poet’s soul has become completely exhausted
Darkness looms above as if on a mission
Grey clouds hang above me in jest
As rain begins to fall I run not away
I let it all wash down the dust I have gathered
The scent of fresh wet earth almost knocks my breath
The cruel wind carrying with it musky smells of pine trees
Should I still keep on loving you?
All I have longed for, can it be found in you?
I have hated you yet loved you mindlessly
Now my soul is in chaos
A rickety chaotic soul of a poet tries to write
All I have are my simple words, maybe empty or full
Nothing else can I offer you freely
Except my bare soul and disgruntled heart
Are you enough to put a stop to this chaotic soul?
