White Umbrella Poem

We met at a park bench
The wind had started blowing
Filling up my nostrils with cool currents
I could feel it caressing my cheeks
Making the hairs at the back of my neck
To stand like they were ready for battle
The park was slowly being abandoned
Leaves of autumn slithering away
Clearing the cabro pavement
The songs of the birds had stopped

Happy New Year My Love Poem

I have seen another year with you
It has been a wonderful 365 days with you
spending time in your arms kept me sane
leaning into your chest gave me breathe
Listening to your voice rendered me peaceful
Holding onto the dreams of us
Gave me the courage to love even more
You have been my anchor
The reason my smile never faded
Last year you stayed with me

The Only Memories I Have Poem

The messages on my phone
Are the only memories of you I  have
Travelled on the road alone
In tumulus times on windy days
The way you called my name still lingers on me
Because only you could raise
The very veins that carry my blood to the heart
I miss holding you close
Dancing to our classic love songs
On the radio

Dim Not The Lights Poem

Journey of a solitary man

I seem to be walking alone on this journey
Yet people surround me every day
Like slow motions in ocean currents
I see my life slowly unveil
A journey I have sometimes failed its test
Only comforted that I am only human
Yet a reward for living
Is breathing freely this city air I know
Mastered my craft
Have I really? Can I say I am here?
Living, Breathing, Loving, Hating, Forgiving
Leaders have been made before me
Others still knock at dreamless doors
To tell my story would be a fallacy
Lie brewed in unchartered emotions
