Song of The Midnight Poem

A desert song I heard
From your pounding heart beats a rhythm of prose words
That lends meaning to a lonesome world
I have been shattered
Yet you picked the million pieces
A thirsty soul
You quenched with your understanding of who I am
Who I was becomes irrelevant on this journey
Ending tonight
I begin a new chapter a story rewritten in the hands of destiny
Fate brought you to me
A fervent light, illuminating dark corners
A creation of new emotions
True feelings
Midnight beckons
The choir sings a music
A song of you and me meeting for the first time
Though we have met before
In our subconscious
