Forget Your Past Dear Poem

Searching through the archives of your soul
I found a lost love
One that had been forgotten
Filled with chunks of memories
Pieces of scattered feelings
Sliced to become regrets
It was enough to let go
A heart fragmented and broken
All you knew were droplets of tears
Chunks of loneliness
Lumps that choke your dreams
Now a collection of your history
I now plead with you
Give me a portion of your being
To gather you with both hands
Show you a different love
Pleasantly deep and strong
One that will not ache
I give you every speck of my heart
Strengthening my arms to ask
What will you do for our love?
