Silent Torture Poem

He wounded my heart with his love
Left me limping with passion
And panting for his addictive kiss
A kiss so intense
It tattooed my whole body
Then left me in a lovely daze
His caresses like a kiss of death
Only sent from Heaven
Brewed and nurtured on this earth
To torment me with its gentleness
Dent my whole skin with goose bumps
Baring my naked soul to all
It made me need his love
Like the flowers need rain to blossom
Now a distant memory
Of what
Might have been, should have been
The wound refusing to heal
Waiting for his tender love to touch it
And his fiery kiss to cool the blaze
