Poor Enough Poem

I might not have an umbrella
To cover you from the rain
My simple words may not be poetry to you
I know they come from the heart
I may not be brave enough
To walk through the desert with you
It might not be right
For me to cry when you do instead of comfort
I may not be strong enough
To pick up the pieces of your heart
That someone else mercilessly broke
Know that Iam willing to survive
Face this cruel world
Walk on broken glass barefoot
Even look into the mouth of disaster
Being sure you will be the silver lining
In the grey skies above
I want to share my conditional love with you
I might not be rich enough
To buy you the world
But Iam poor enough to afford your heart
