Alone Once Again Poem

Dreaming about you
Not the same as holding you
My arms wrapped around the pillow
In tears for your loss
Strong enough to let you go
Weak enough to give you another chance
Thinking about you
Missing your powerful essence
All the reservoirs of love
Squeezed out of life
Left out in the scorching sun
Wishing to see you
Until it hurts
Lost in the dark without you
Burning the duvet with pain
Head buried deep in the covers
Could I fall asleep without you?
Should I dare close my eyes?
Surrounded by loneliness?
