Underwater Beauty Poem

Beyond the rocky shores
Sandy beaches
The brilliantly coloured tropical seas
Or the vast shallow waters
I can hear you call my name
Just as the female moth
Releases a faint perfume into the air
To lure it’s male from a distance
Yours keeps me close to you
Or the fireflies
That attracts their male by glowing brightly
Your smile glows through the dark
Like crickets use sound to attract females
The sound of your voice vibrates in my heart
I walk next to the coral reefs
On every sand dune area
Clasping my arms close to my chest
I shut out the cold
Watching the clam closing its shell
I realise the sea bed must be beautiful
Full of adventure like our love life
