Farewell To Thee My Love Poem

On the southern shore
Of my heart that is neigh
Sweet music flowing to the sea
A tragic story of the smoky mountains
That ended our love affair so wonderful
Under the rusted bells of our life
With piercings of thorns and thistles
Our enduring passion for each other
A luxurious treasure chest
Saying goodbye to our best days together
Still on the run to nowhere
Like a black and white photograph
Full of memories that crackle like dry leaves
Longing for the state of the art cruise
That is in your wonderful eyes
A calligraphy of hand written sacred promises
Made in the midst of woody paths
I have no answer to give you
No understanding to show to your heart
I can only walk away like a homeless beggar
