Ashes Of My Life Poem

I found myself when I met you
The lamentations of my heart stopped
Like a widow
All night long I wept for the one I had lost
My tears poured out in a ceaseless stream
As my heart grieved
It was a loss I could not replace
Could not hide the loneliness away
Life robbed me of everything sane
No one ever had pain like mine
The strongest part of all
Shattered and in ruins
My eyes are worn out with crying
Grief exhausts my soul I cannot run
Anguish rules over my heart
Worn out and suffering
My spirit totally crushed
Source of my being captured by heartaches
Staggering naked with regrets
Only need your touch to stop the tears
