The heart has reasons
That reason cannot understand
I heard someone say
None is too powerful
As not to bow down
At the heavy weight of love
Still they spoke
None so confident
As not to give in to love’s hypnotizing glance
As not to sacrifice all
For the sake of winning the other’s heart
Myth or legend
Fact or fiction
Fairytale or truth
Love stands above it all
Cannot be understood
Or explained
It can only be felt and experienced
