Home Before Christmas Poem

Our picture is worth more…
More than a million words spoken
Christmas without you
Flickered all the magic away
All I thought were your last affectionate words
Counting the stars to infinity
Could not have been used to it
You know I want you to hold
No one should be alone on Christmas
I need you to sing a carol with me
I send you a gift of love to keep you safe
Unwrapping yours makes you closer to me
My Christmas wish would be
To kiss you under the mistletoe
Spend the whole night together
Singing to the silent night
Counting our blessings
Be home before Christmas ends
Grant me the simple pleasure
Of falling asleep in your arms
Mine are waiting for your presence
