A Rocky Garden Poem

Down by the river’s edge
The rocky paths
Clear blue skies above
Chirps filling the clean fresh air
Swaying trees cutting the stillness of morning
The last specks of darkness
Giving way to a new dawn
Rays of sunlight reflecting on the waters
Filling the earth with an orange glow
Morning dew wetting the ground
Crisp cool breezes rushing past me
I will be waiting for you
Sipping the warmth through my skin
Close my eyes and drink in the beauty
Take you in my arms
Fill you up with affection
Satisfy your soul with my love
Nobody will love you the way I do
Watch you as the day melts away
Another magnificent sunset
Another wonderful day spent with you
