Quivering Leaves Poem

Autumn is here
Giving a burnt orange shade
To this beautiful sunset
A possession I have in me
To keep on loving you
When new buds emerge
Spreading fresh new leaves
Dark green
With a smooth surface
Clear shiny balance of coolness
No war seems hard
Every battle can be won
Underneath a Juniper tree
Or the wondrous beauty of the Oak
Next to the mysterious Baobab
Leaves drop in one rhythm
I can now let your arms
Carry me home
As the wind whistles past
Carrying away
The russet autumn leaves
